After a heartbreaking last gasp loss to RB Leipzig, the shamrocks have been dealt another blow.

Goran Sukalo and Florian Trinks will miss the remainder of the first half of the season, it has been confirmed. Sukalo had an excellent chance to put Fürth ahead in the match, but he was denied by the crossbar. The Finnish midfielder picked up ligament problems, in his right ankle, during the game and will be a big miss for Frank Kramer's side.

Currently sitting in eleventh place, Fürth have gone through several rough patches due to injury this term; none more important as Wolfgang Hesl's absence for several weeks during the Hinrunde. Kramer has admitted that creating chances hasn't been a problem, but it's the finishing that has given cause for concern.

However, one of those creators, Florian Trinks, will be out for the Bavarians' final two games of the year. He is struggling with a groin injury and has been ruled out of the matches against VfL Bochum and the Frankenderby against Nürnberg.
