Frankfurt will look to bounce back after Friday's defeat to Hoffenheim, as they host Hertha Berlin at the Commerzbank-Arena.

The defeat to Hoffenheim saw the end of a three match winning run but a win against Berlin will see them push in to contention for the top four.

Berlin come in to the game against Frankfurt after an impressive 1-0 win at home to struggling Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. Former Dortmund striker Julian Schieber scored the winner to see them edge away from the dangers of relegation. A win for the visitors could see them push up to mid table.

Both teams will be looking to name the same sides from the weekend and Frankfurt manager Thomas Schaaf will be hoping Bundesliga top scorer Alexander Meier will be on top form to fire them back to winning ways.

Jos Luhukay will be hoping his team carry pick up where they left off on Saturday when a first half goal from Schieber was enough to give them three points and end a run of two consecutive defeats.

Frankfurt Striker Haris Seferovic is looking to respond well against Berlin; “In the first half, Hoffenheim were better than us but I think we were the better team in the second half. We've now go to forget about this game and move on to Wednesday”.

Berlin midfielder Änis Ben-Hatira is expecting the same kind of performance as Saturday when they travel to the Commerzbank-Arena; “Seeing the way we fought, showing from the first minute that we wanted to win, I can only pay the rest of the team a great compliment. We played like one big family on the field and long may it continue."

Salomon Kalou and Schieber both have five goals for Berlin and will be looking to add to their tally’s when they face a Frankurt side who are not goal shy to say the least.
