Hunt signed for the Wolves during the summer on a costless from Werder Bremen, a place he called home for over a decade and admits he is unhappy with his playtime at his new home.

The three time German international has featured no less than seventeen times for Wolfsburg this term and he's came up with four goals. However, he has only started three Bundesliga fixtures.

Despite his good showings, Hunt told Bild, "I am not happy with how things are going. In sporting terms, you cannot blame me. There have been other reasons.

"I've not spoken to him (Hecking) for four months. I know what I would have or had in Bremen and it was clear that I would never have that again at another club."

Whether, Wolfsburg will allow Hunt to leave come January is a different story and Hunt himself declares a return to Bremen is very possible.
