The Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper has gone on loan to Halle in search of valuable first team experience.

Lomb moves to the 3.Liga club until the end of the season. He completed a successful two-session trial, on Wednesday, with the side, so will join up with them again on Friday.

HFC director Ralph Kühne was over the moon to complete the deal: "We are delighted that we were able to quickly and easily meet with Bayer for this deal."

Lomb came through Bayer Leverkusen's youth setup and made his debut for the club in a UEFA Europa League tie against Rosenborg in December 2012. However the majority of his appearances have came with their second string side.

Halle are currently in twelfth place, comfortably mid-table, sitting nine points from promotion and a further eight from relegation. They kick off their 3.Liga Rückrunde at home to MSV Duisburg on January 31st.
