Eintracht Braunschweig announced the signing of Nik Omladic from Olimpija Ljubljana.

The Solvenian midfielder joins on a two-and-a-half year deal, though the transfer fee remains unknown. Omladic has enjoyed a very successful season with Olimpija, scoring five goals and four assists in sixteen league games.

Marc Arnold was extremely happy to land the 25-year-old midfielder, "Nik is a versatile offensive player with a strong left foot. He has high speed and determination and can both score and assist goals."

He'll wear the number twelve for the Lions, who are currently sitting in second position in the 2.Bundesliga. Omladic will add depth to the Braunschweig wide areas and, with the departure of loanee Hendrick Zuck at the end of the season, this could prove to be a great piece of business.

Speaking on his arrival, Omladic said, "I know they were in the Bundesliga last year and were German Champions in 1967, I know it's a great club."
