SV Darmstadt 98 have signed Jan Rosenthal from Eintracht Frankfurt and have almost finalised a deal to bring back Yannick Stark from 1860 Munich.

The 28-year-old attacking midfielder hadn't made a single appearance for the Eagles this season, partly due to food poisoning, but was then told by the club that he had no future there.

It was confirmed by Heribert Bruchhagen on Sunday morning, yet it remains unclear as to how long he's signed a deal for and how much he'll move for.

Another signing that is only a matter of time from being given the stamp of approval, is that of Yannick Stark from 1860 Munich.

"Yannick has made his wish to move unmistakably clear to us. Darmstadt are finally moving in the right direction. We have found a mutually acceptable solution," commented sporting director Gerhard Poschner, who wishes him all the best for his future all and good luck.

The deal is set to be finalised on Monday, deadline day, as Stark returns to the club he left in 2011. Since leaving, he's gone on to make over 100 appearances for 1860 and FSV Frankfurt.

Darmstadt currently sit in second place, following their dramatic promotion to 2. Bundesliga football this season. Both players could make their debuts against VfR Aalen on Friday night.
