VfR Aalen have secured the services of Markus Steinhöfer, Lucas Alves de Araujo (Lucao) and Robert Schick as the January transfer window draws to a close.
All three players have signed a contract until the end of the season, with the option to renew also included come that time.
"We very much welcome the trio in Aalen," said board member Carl Ferdinand Meidert.
"Together with the loanees Orhan Ademi and Gianluca Korte, they will help us on the way to avoiding relegation. The development in the next few months will show whether we will go into the new season with these new players."
Lucao and Shick are both defenders and, as Head Coach Stefan Ruthenbeck stated, 'help out with the current situation' in that area. Shick has been given the number two, with the Brazilian defender picking up number 20.
In Steinhöfer, who will wear number fourteen, Aalen have got a hugely experienced defender from 1860 Munich. "Markus is fast and fits perfectly with our game," said Ruthenbeck.
