SpVgg Greuther Fürth and Guilherme have gone their separate ways, as the club and player agreed to mutually terminate the Brazilian's contract.

Guilherme's deal was due to run out at the end of the season, although a lack of games have left the player unhappy and wanting more time on the pitch.

He made four appearances for the Shamrocks since moving to Germany in the summer from Petrolul Ploiesti, totaling just over 200 minutes.

Michael Mutzel, director of football, explained the situation: "Guilherme could not prevail with us and was unhappy with his role. We wish Guilherme all the best for his future endeavors and thank him for his always impeccable commitment."

It's the second deal in the space of a few days for the club. Fürth added winger Zltako Tripic to their ranks, on Sunday, in order to try and spark some life into their misfiring attack. He could make his debut on Friday evening against Ingolstadt.
