After a battling draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to get all three points to move clear of the relegation zone.

Augsburg go in to the game on the back of a 3-1 victory over Hoffenheim thanks to goals from Halil Altintop, Tobias Werner and Raul Bobadilla.

With consecutive victories, the visitors go in to the game full of confidence and hoping to pour more misery on a struggling Dortmund side.

In team news, Lukasz Piszczek is a doubt after picking up a knock against Leverkusen. Ilkay Gundogan will be hoping to recover in time to make his first appearance in 2015. Erik Durm could make the bench, while Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender remain sidelined.

Alexander Esswein is still struggling with a knee injury and remains out. Abdul Rahman Baba is still at the African Cup Of Nations so wont be back for the game in Dortmund. Dong-Wong Ji could face the side he left in the summer.

Dortmund will be looking to their home form to get them out of the current situation they're in.

Augsburg's new midfielder Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg realises they face a tough task even though Dortmund lie bottom.

Talking about the game, he said; "We've made a good start to the Rückrunde, but we’ve got another job to do against Borussia Dortmund."

They'll be looking to Marco Reus and new signing Kevin Kampl to set up some good results, starting against Augsburg.

A solid performance on Saturday will give manager Jurgen Klopp and his players some confidence going in to the game.

Should results go their way, a win could see them  move up to 13th in the table.

A win for the visitors would see them move above Schalke in to the top four.

Possible line-ups:

Dortmund: Weidenfeller - Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer - Gündogan, Sahin - Kampl, Mkhitaryan, Reus - Aubameyang

Augsburg: Manninger - Verhaegh, Callsen-Bracker, Klavan, Feulner - Baier - Bobadilla, Höjbjerg, Altintop, To. Werner - Ji
