Bayern Munich duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Arjen Robben have demanded improvements from the side after a poor start to 2015.

A shock 4-1 defeat to Wolfsburg on Saturday and a 1-1 draw to Schalke yesterday has left the side disappointed.

Bayern played more than 70 minutes with ten men in the draw with Schalke but Robben put them 1-0 up. Benedikt Höwedes equalised for the visitors and it meant that Munich have only picked up one point in their two games in 2015.

Schweinsteiger expects more from the team when they travel to Stuttgart. Speaking about the game on Saturday, he said: "We need a win as well as a good performance in Stuttgart."

Robben was extremely disappointed with the result yesterday. He said: "We controlled the game with a man down, but the result is annoying."

It's a game that Munich would've been expected to win and the Dutch midfielder realises that they need to up their game when they face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Robben went on to add: "Of course, we played with ten men for most of the match, but when you go 1-0 up and then let them equalise, conceding a goal like that can be deadly in the Champions League."

By Munich's standards they will be really expecting a lot more from the team, especially with Wolfsburg aiming to cut the gap between the sides that currently occupy the top two spots in Bundesliga.
