Joan Oumari and Markus Ballmert have had their contracts with FSV Frankfurt to June 2016.

Both players made use of a clause in their contract that allowed them to prolong their stay, with the pair's deals expiring at the end of the year.

"Both have developed well and can participate successfully at FSV Frankfurt in the coming season. So we are pleased that we can rely on them in the next season," said FSV Director of Sport Uwe Stöver.

Ballmert is a product of the youth academy at Frankfurt and the 21-year-old made the leap into the first team this season.

Since arriving in 2013, Oumari has been a crucial member of the side and has made 39 appearances after moving from Rot-Weiß Erfurt.

FSV return to league action this weekend, as they face off against FC Nürnberg in the first game after the 2. Bundesliga winter break.
