Thorgan Hazard has completed a permanent move to Borussia Mönchengladbach from English side Chelsea FC, on a deal until 2020, after a successful loan period with the Foals.

The 21-year-old Belgian has signed permanently with the side 3rd placed in the Bundesliga, after impressing Lucien Favre since joining on loan.

After failing to impress Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, the younger brother of superstar Eden joined from Lens on 2012 but failed to make one single appearance for the current Barclays Premier League leaders.

Having enjoyed a succesful spell on loan in his home country with Zulte Waregem, Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl was keen to bring the talented youngster to the Borussia Park.

Eberl previously hinted that the loan deal would become a permanent by saying, "Both clubs and the player are close to agreeing a deal." The player himself also said recently he wanted clarity on his long term future.

The London based club do have a buy-back option of which they've been known to use in the past. The attacking midfielder signs for an undisclosed fee.
