Jürgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund side will be keen to extend their Bundesliga winning streak despite a midweek Champions League defeat to Juventus.

FC Schalke 04 will be intending to stay in the top four with a win at the Signal Iduna Park. The Revierderby means a lot more to both teams than the three points, which sets it up to be an intriguing fixture.

In team news, Dortmund picked up a couple injuries in midweek, with Lukasz Piszczek and Sokratis Papastathopoulos both being taken off. Piszczek was ruled out for six weeks.

Kevin Kampl and Neven Subotic should return after missing the Juventus game through illness. Oliver Kirch could slot in to right back where he played on Tuesday. Erik Durm is another option should he be fit enough.

For Schalke, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar returns from suspesion in time for Roberto Di Matteo's side. "Klaas-Jan and Choupo have a great understanding on the pitch," said the Schalke boss. Joel Matip is ruled out through injury.

Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is looking forward to the derby, saying; "Once a fan came to me and said we can lose all our games, but not to Schalke. I think that says it all."

Benedikt Höwedes recognises what this game means to the fans, "The region is electrified by this duel, winning it would be a fantastic gift for all Schalke fans," said the Schalke defender.

Di Matteo is looking forward to his first Revierderby, saying; "Derbies are always quite special. The team, the fans and the whole club have been looking forward to this game for days.''

Dortmund are going well recently in the league, winning three in a row, but they will be keen to get over the midweek defeat.

Schalke haven't won in the league since their win over Borussia Mönchengladbach so they'll be looking to get back to winning ways and maintain their top four push.

A win for Dortmund could see them move in to the top half should results go their way.
