Building up to Bayern's midweek cup game agaisnt 2.liga team Eintracht Braunschweig, Guardiola insists reports linking him with a move away from the Allianz arena are completely untrue.

In fact, the German giants' manager warned before the cup match against Braunschweig: "There have been against teams from first division of the Second and Third Division lost." So he demands respect for second division's sixth placed side. The Spaniard also stated that the fixture will not be as one-sided as many predict.

Team News:

Bayern will be without Philipp Lahm (ankle), Javi Martinez (knee) and Thiago (knee) who are all expected to return to full training after the international break in late March.

Even before Christmas, Guardiola's name was brought in to debate with Premier League champions Manchester City reportedly considering him as a potential replacement for Manuel Pellegrini. He had the following to say: "I'm happy here at Bayern, my only idea right now is to stay and work for this club here.

On his contract, which expires in June next year: "Of course I stay here, I get no offers, waiting for any offers."
