A slight lead for Masimiliano Allegri's Juventus team as they head to Signal Iduna Park to face Borussia Dortmund, leaves this last 16 Champions League tie firmly in the balance with a quarter-final spot amongst Europe's elite up for grabs.

"Every time you enter the ground you get goosebumps"

- Jurgen Klopp

Despite being 2-1 down to the Italians after an intriguing first game between the two sides, Jurgen Klopp believes home advantage can help his side overcome the challenge in order to progress to the next round, placing an emphasis on the imposing atmosphere from the crowd. "This stadium is extraordinary," he told UEFA.com. "It's really the coolest thing about this club. I have been here a while now, and still every time you enter the ground you get goosebumps," he said. "A special event needs a special venue to be truly special and that's definitely what our stadium is. Hopefully also on Wednesday."

After a mini-resurgence from their awful start to the Bundesliga campain, which has ultimately seen Dortmund rise up the league table, Klopp's side have slipped again, lamenting their inability to hit the back of the net with two consecutive, 0-0 league draws. With the Juventus defeat sandwiched inbetween, confidence is slipping once more around Signal Iduna Park. Progressing to the quarter-finals with a victory over Juventus on Wednesday night, might just be what the doctor ordered.

"We're going to need one goal"

- Massimiliano Allegri

For Juventus and head coach Allegri, the tie is too finely balanced to take their foot off the ball, despite a one-goal lead from the first battle between these two sides. Safe to say that Allegri is taking no chances, with Dortmund's important away goal hovering threateningly in the air. Talking to the press, Allegri insisted the importance of his siding moving forward and attempting to score goals, not just sitting back and trying to be difficult to break down; "We're going to need one goal," he said. "But it would be better if we get two."

These comments suggest that Juventus will not "park the bus" and instead with go for the jugular as they try to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. With A.S. Roma losing at Sampadoria this weekend, Juventus look set to win their fourth straight league title, and as such can concentrate all their energies on Europe. It might just be that they need all their tactical nous and experience as the Yellow and Black wall rocks into life on Wednesday night. Whatever happens, this one cannot be missed: it promises to be a real treat.
