Heerenveen striker Mark Uth is said to be a top target for both Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg this summer according to Corriere dello sport.

The twenty-three-year-old, one time German youth international has scored fourteen and assisted eleven in twenty-nine games this term for Heerenveen; making him the third highest scorer and joint first for assists.

Cologne born Uth played for both 1. FC Köln and FC Viktoria Köln in his youth career before being offered a professional deal with the former in 2010.

Uth played for Köln's reserves between 2010 and 2012 and scored sixteen goals in forty-one games. Despite this promising form Uth never played first team football with Köln due to the club deeming him surplus to requirements. He then moved on to Heerenveen on a deal until the end of the 2015/16 season.

He was loaned out to Heracles Almelo in his first year and grabbed eight goals in twenty-eight appearances.

Uth stands at 6" 1' and can also play on the wing if required.
