Stuttgart will unveil Alexander Zorniger as their new manager  for the 2015/16 season according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten and various other media outlets. The deal will be until 2018.

Zorniger last managed at the controversial RB Leipzig before being relieved of his duties in February after a poor run of form. The forty-seven year old has previously graced the VfB dugout previously, having been Markus Babbel's assistant in 2009.

Current manager Huub Stevens - who is in his second spell with the club in under a year - will walk away from the Mercedes-Benz-Arena when his contract runs out this summer. Sixty-one year old Stevens took over at the tail end of last season and then left in the summer and was replaced by Armin Veh who only lasted until November before being shown the exit door. Stevens was re-instated following Veh's dismissal on a deal until the end of the season.

The club themselves are yet to comment on any speculation although it is expected an announcement will be made in due course.
