History was against Bayern Munchen on Tuesday as they set off against FC Porto. Less than five percent of teams down 3-1 entering the second leg have comeback and won, but come on now, was there really any doubt against this Bayern Munich team. They didn't just beat Porto, they ran them into the ground with a dominating 6-1 performance.

After putting out what was a relatively weaker squad on the weekend against Hoffenheim, and a poor showing in Portugal, some where left wondering if Bayern could pull off the feat. Well they passed the test with flying colors and are ready to host Hertha BSC in hopes of clinching their third straight and 25th Bundesliga title at home with a victory.

Should they clinch the title tomorrow, the wait for Bayern to win lift the trophy was much longer than last year, and that could be a good thing in the end. Clinching it so quickly last year showed the lack of motivation the team had in the league games following it and the cup games. It was really relevant during their defeat to Real Madrid at home as Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. ran riot on them.

The last time these two clubs met, it was only a 1-0 win for Bayern with Arjen Robben scoring the winner, but it was a dominating performance as Hertha was not able to get much on target. Bayern's last league match came on the road against HoffenheimSebastian Rode and an own goal by Andreas Beck help set up the opportunity for the league leaders to clinch at home. Hertha's last game was a 0-0 draw against Koln which did not have much action to it. It's been six years since Hertha defeated Bayern so don't expect an upset on the cards.
