Stuttgart will head to the Veltins-Arena to take on Schalke in a must-win game for Huup Stevens as relegation is looming closer and closer.

Heading into the last few weeks of the season and Stuttgart find themselves at the bottom of the Bundesliga table. Fortunately for Huub Stevens, he is not that far from safety as his squad is only three points below the 14th spot; results will have to go their way if they are to move to safety, however. Their last match against Freiburg was a real heartbreaker as they saw a 2-0 lead slip away. Daniel Ginczek and Martin Harnik scored three minutes apart before the half hour mark. Unfortunately, a red card was shown to Adam Hloušek in the 66th minute and Freiburg scored the equalizing goal with just five minutes remaining through Nils Petersen -- his second of the game.

For Schalke, their run of form has not been fantastic either, to say the least. They have failed to pick up three points since their victory over Hoffenheim at home in a match that they won by a score of 3-1. Since then, however, Schalke has failed to pick up the full three points in six consecutive matches. Another concerning stat through this stretch is the fact that they have managed to only find the back of the net three times. Thankfully di Matteo's defense has been holding strong otherwise they could have found themselves further down the table but insteaed Schalke still hold on to Europa League spot for now.

In his first year with Schalke, Eric Choupo-Moting has played fairly decently. In 27 appearances, the Cameroonian international has found the back of the net on nine occassions while providing some excellent with going forward. Max Meyer is continuing to improve on the pitch each and every week. The most amazing thing is the fact that he is still just 19 years of age. If he continues in his upward progression, some of the biggest clubs around Europe will be chasing his signature. While he does not score a whole lot, he orchestrates the attack and makes provides pinpoint accuracy with his passes which is rather remarkable for someone so young.
