The match between VfL Bochum and SV Sandhausen produced the only 0-0 draw of the weekend as the 2014/15 campaign comes to an end.

In the early goings of this match, there was not much action with both sides trying to figure each other out tactically. For Bochum in the fourth minute, Terrazzino played a wonderful ball towards the danger zone, but the Sandhausen defense was able to clear the ball away to safety. Riemann came up big for Sandhausen minutes later as he denied Gregoritsch a golden opportunity to score by stopping him one on one. Then Terodde found Bulut with a wonderful ball after the rebound as the latter tried an audacious bicycle kick that failed to hit the target.

Bochum had a nother decent look at goal in the 17th minute following a corner kick. Losilla got the ball and acted like he was going to shoot, instead he played a cute little pass to Terrazzino who's shot was hit straight at the the Sandhausen shot stopper. Wooten had Sandhausen's first opportunity of the first half two minutes after the half hour mark but his effort was hit straight at Esser.

Celozzi nearly gave Sandhausen a break through with his poor back pass, but Wooten could not capitalize on the gift and the match remained scoreless heading into halftime.

Sandhausen's Kübler got the first opportunity of the second half, but he just could not get any power behind his effort and the ball fell straight into the hands of Esser. Schulz got closest to scoring this evening for the visitors as his header banged off the inside post, somehow not going into the back of the net just before sixty minutes. In the 68th minute, Wooten was involved in the offense thrid of the pitch again and forced Esser into making an outstanding stop. That was essentially the final chance of the season as neither side produced much in the final third of the pitch in a very dull affair.
