In what has been a busy day at 1. FC Heidenheim, the club confirmed that Rouven Sattelmeier and Felix-Adrian Körber would not have their contracts renewed, as well as the arrival of Kevin Müller from Energie Cottbus.

24-year-old Müller has been one of the top performers in the 3. Liga this season and has plenty of experience under his belt, having played for Hansa Rostock and VfB Stuttgart before making the move to Cottbus last year.

"He is a goalkeeper who already brings some experience, despite his young age, so we are pleased that he will strengthen us in the future in this position," said Heidenheim managing director, Holger Sandwald.

With one goalkeeper coming in, two have also left the club. Rouven Sattelmeier and Felix-Adrian Körber both will not have their contracts extended and will leave in the summer, meaning Müller will immediately become second-choice stopper behind Jan Zimmermann.
