The newly promoted side yesterday announced that German electronic giants; Media Markt will be their new shirt sponsor from next season onwards.
The German brand will feature on the Bavarian sides shirts in a deal running until 2018, and the deal will be valid in both the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. Media Markt will replace current shirt sponsors Audi.
The FC Ingolstadt 04 finance officer, Franz Spitzauer added: "It's a good sign for Schanzer (FC Ingolstadt) that we are now able to attract a strong brand as our sponsor, along side Audi." He continued with, "Media Markt is a strong player in the Ingolstadt region and on a global scale. They share many similarities with us; not only their immediate geographical presence but their will to win, and spirit."
Media Markt join Audi and Adidas as die Schanzer's leading sponsors. The Bavarian side will be looking forward to next season for many reasons, as it will be their first ever season in the Bundesliga.
