Greuther Fürth have today announced the signing of Domi Kumbela on a two year deal with an option of a one year extension from Turkish side Karabükspor.

The 31-year-old, formerly of current 2. Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig, has 29 second division goals to his name in 68 outings.

"I am happy to return to Germany. I want my performances to match what I've shown, among other things in Braunschweig, build and integrate myself as soon as possible in the team and settle in Fürth. I want to address the common goals and make my contribution." Kumbela told the Shamrocks website.

Kumbela left Germany last summer and spent just a season in Turkey where he struggled, scoring just three in 22 Turkish Super Lig appearances as Karabükspor were relegated after a 16th placed finish.

Michael Mutzel, the club's sporting director added, "We are very pleased that we were able to sign Domi despite several requests from other clubs. He's a thoroughbred striker who brings a lot of experience and has proven his eye for goal in the first and second division already. "
