RB Leipzig have announced the arrivals of the Red Bull Salzburg trio Peter Gulasci, Nils Quaschner and Stefan Ilsanker, all on long-term deals.

The hat-trick of signings join Davie Selke, Willi Orban and Ken Gipson as the fourth, fifth and sixth new arrivals this summer.

Gulasci has a battle on his hands for the number one spot, as kicker named Fabio Coltorti the best goalkeeper in the 2. Bundesliga this season.

The Swiss stopper also scored a goal from open play, earning him club hero status with the Saxony side.

Ralf Rangnick, head coach and sporting director at the club, is confident that Gulasci is a fantastic signing:

"Peter Gulacsi was the first-choice 'keeper in Salzburg and has shown, both nationally and international, how consistently good he is in two years.

"He was voted as the best goalkeeper in the Austrian league last season," he added. The Hungarian has been rewarded with a four-year deal.

Quaschner, who has signed on until 2018, was scheduled to join Leipzig in the winter.

However, after having played for two clubs before January, the move was pushed back and the forward's switch has finally been confirmed.

Ilsanker, 26, has been praised by Rangnick, who mentioned his 'ball-winning ability' and 'very positive mentality'. He too has been handed a three-year contract.
