Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Heribert Bruchhagen has confirmed shot stopper Kevin Trapp is on the brink of signing with Paris Saint-Germain and is currently undergoing a medical in the French capital as he expected to sign for the French champions in a matter of days.

“We have found an accord in principle with PSG,” Bruchhagen told the French media. “We are still waiting on some administrative documents, but there is a deal in place.'' A deal of approximately €9 million from various outlets.

Understudy and competitor

With that he joins Salvatore Sirgu and Nicolas Douchez as the third goalkeeper at the club, however with some reports from French outlet Le Parisien, it has been said Douchez does not want to be PSG's number three goalkeeper meaning that if Sirigu stays after Trapp signs, Douchez will leave as the German is expected to be the understudy of the Italian goalkeeper.

With this move, he becomes the first official signing for Les Parisens as president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and coach Laurent Blanc firmly expect to get the second ever German player to join the French champions.
