Borussia Dortmund's attack was flawless in a 3-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, as they look to repeat the feat and this weekend make it two wins from two in 2016.

They do, however, face FC Ingolstadt 04, who have adjusted brilliantly to life in the Bundesliga.

The last time these two teams met it was an easy 4-0 for Dortmund back in August, but it could be a different story this time around.

BVB in fine form

Behind the solid play of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Borussia Dortmund notched up another win in the Bundesliga last week. The Armenian is in top form and is the dangerman for any team facing Dortmund. The 3-1 win over Gladbach helped BVB helped distance themselves from the rest of the pack, along with Bayern Munich.

The win put Dortmund 12 points ahead of fourth-placed Gladbach, and eight points ahead of 3rd place Hertha BSC. Now it's only Bayern and Dortmund left to challenge for the Bundesliga title, with the Baverians heavy favorites. After this fixture, Dortmund will travel to face off against Hertha in a key fixture that will have a big impact on the run in.

Ingolstadt show they're no pushovers

Meanwhile, it has been a very solid campaign for Ingolstadt. In their first ever season in the Bundesliga they have held their own and find themselves 10th in the table. The Bavarians are moving up and down the league on a weekly basis, as three points separate 8th place 1. FSV Mainz 05 and 12th place SV Darmstadt 98.

If Ingolstadt are able to get some points against Dortmund then it could be crucial in their fight to stay in the Bundesliga. Ingolstadt have one of the top defences in the league and will make BVB work for any chances on Saturday.

Ingolstadt have only allowed 18 goals this season, which is best for 3rd in the Bundesliga - behind Bayern and Hertha. This will be a match-up of the most potent attack against a very sturdy defence. After this it, die Schanzer face off against FC Augsburg and VfL Wolfsburg

Team news

Dortmund may be without Marcel Schmelzer as he is doubtful coming into this game.

Pascal Groß will be out for Ingolstadt via suspension. New signing Dario Lezcano could make his first start for the team.

What they're saying

"Catching Bayern is going to be tough. They are too consistent. We have improved on last season, but not enough just yet. But in the end it is all about the points you have at the end of the season. Then we will see where we are." said Dortmund winger Marco Reus to the offical Bundesliga website.

“Anyone who knows us, and has seen our away statistics, knows the higher the pressure, the cooler and more successful we are,” said Ingolstadt manager Ralph Hasenhüttl when asked about the pressures of playing against Borussia Dortmund.
