According to Gazzetta dello Sport, sturdy Inter center-back Walter Samuel has signed a 1-year contract extension at the club.
New Inter coach Walter Mazzarri considers the Argentinian as one of his key players and an integral part of his 3 man defence based system and is thus not willing to let go of him yet.
The 35-year-old will be hoping that next season will be a more fruitful and less injury-stricken one than the previous, in which he only managed to feature 22 times.
