Llorente "Juventus have a spectacular team"

In an interview with RTVE.es, the Juventus bound Spanish striker has made it known that he is looking forward for his journey with the Italian champions & that he still holds Athletic Bilbao dear to his heart.

Llorente "I admit that I never expected my journey with Bilbao to end so soon, in fact I thought that I would be here till the end of my career, however things turned out differently but I will always owe a lot to the club & the fans."

And on Juventus "Now my future lies in Italy, with Juventus, I am optimistic & I have high expectations. I believe that my journey with Juventus will be a fantastic one, they have a great project taking place & they are aiming to do something special in the Champions League. Juventus have a spectacular team, most of their players are part of the Italian National team setup & the rest of their players, the foreigners, are champions with their respective countries. I don't know much about the club's transfer activity & about any other purchases they have made or are willing to make but there's a lot of talk about Higuain which could be a great addition to any squad."

Fernando Llorente will join his new team-mates come end of June.
