According to the Express, Kolarov has been cited by new Inter Milan manager, Walter Mazzarri as a potential signing during the summer mercato. The 27 year old has been linked with a move back to Italy in the last few months with a lot of different Serie A sides looking at the full back, including Juventus.

With the Serbian finding it hard to get game time at Man City, it would suit all parties for him to leave. New Man City manager, will more than likely want to sell the full back and bring in a much younger back up for Gael Clichy, as he plans a huge overhaul of the squad.

He first signed for City for 16 million, but could leave for Inter for the less than half that fee, with the Italian side willing to spend some cash this Summer. Inter struggled last season, finishing in 9th. With current full back, Alvaro Pereira likely to be joining Tottenham, Inter will be eager to replace him
