Versatile Juventus winger Emanuele Giaccherini is reportedly close to a move to Barclays Premier League side Sunderland.

According Sky Sport Italia, Juventus have agreed to sell the diminutive Giaccherini to Sunderland for €8m plus an extra €2m in bonuses. Giaccherini will pen a four year deal worth €2m in wages per season.

After an impressive Confederations Cup in Brazil Juventus manager Antonio Conte was reluctant to allow the player to move on but eventually relented.

It is expected that the sale of Giaccherini will effectively pay off the transfer fee for Carlos Tevez from Manchester City for €9m plus bonuses.
