German sports newspaper, Kicker, has reported that Real Madrid have bid £43 million for Juventus' Arturo Vidal

However, Juventus consider the player to be an unsellable asset, and Vidal has recently stated that he is happy at the club: "I am honoured that Real Madrid wanted me, but I am happy at Juventus; I feel like this is my home. It is an honour to be linked to a club like Real Madrid, it means that I have played well. But at the moment I am focused only on giving my best for the Bianconeri jersey... Juve is my home."

The Chilean central midfielder is currently in negotiations to extend his contract with La Vecchia Signora until 2017; a deal which will increase his annual salary at the club from £3.1 million to £3.8 million.

Arturo Vidal has been an integral member the MVP midfield, which has inspired Juventus to consecutive Serie A titles, since he arrived at the club in 2011 for £9 million. Last season, the 26 year old was Juve's best player, scoring 15 goals and setting up a further 11 goals in all competitions.

Vidal has stated that he still has a lot to achieve at Juventus, despite already winning two Scudetti: " The two Scudetti and Italian Supercup are my only trophies with Juventus so far, so there is still room for the Champions League."
