In what is becoming a rather unprecedented transfer window for Serie A side S.S.C. Napoli, they are being booked by multiple sources (Football Italia, Bola.net, Voetbal International, and Yahoo! Sport) to land Real Madrid right back, Alvaro Arbeloa.

Arbeloa, now 30 years old, has spent two different stints with Real Madrid which compose the majority of his professional career, but the key to the move are the three years that he spent at Liverpool with current Napoli boss Rafa Benitez.

Having enjoyed working with Arbeloa then, Benitez seems to inclined to bring the Madrid man to Italy, where he can play at right, or left full back, although he is more comfortable on the right. Sources have the move estimated at around 12m Euros.

If the move does go through, it would bring the total to four Real Madrid players who have made the move to the southern Italian city, for a combined fee of roughly 62m Euros. Gonzalo Higuain, Jose Callejon, and Raul Albiol are the other players who have made the move.
