Amidst reports that Real Madrid are lining up a £20 million bid, Italian international, Giorgio Chiellini, has commited his future to Juventus: "If Real Madrid made me an offer, I wouldn't even consider leaving Juventus, not at this time."

"We have a great project here. [Giuseppe] Marotta said it clearly: we are not a selling club. We are a club that wants to build an important cycle. In Conte's first year, who would ever have imagined Juventus becoming champions of Italy? Now that we have added a few more pieces, now that we are more solid, we aim to continue on this path."

Chiellini is seen as an integral part of La Vecchia Signora's future plans, and is considered to be one of the untouchable players at the club, alongside Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal.

The Azzurri international was speaking to the press after the club's 3-1 defeat to L.A. Galaxy, a defeat which did not sit well with manager, Antonio Conte: "We need to show more hunger. Buffon made an important point saying he fears a possible indulgence after two consecutive championship successes and you just need to look at the goals we conceded today to realise the danger is there. We must increase our concentration levels. We haven’t won a game since we’ve been here, it’s now time to change that.”
