New Juventus forward, Fernando Llorente, has told El Larguero that he believes that Juventus are the perfect club for him, but he will need time to adpat to La Vecchia Signora's style of play:

"Juventus were the right club for me and I feel that I have made the right decision. I need a bit of time to adapt to my new surroundings, but I have been received very well here."

"The Coach uses me as an attacker in his 3-5-2 formation, so I will need to improve my movement and understanding with my teammates. I need to do things which I haven’t done in the past, but things will improve. We have the Italian Super Cup against Lazio this weekend and I can’t wait until the championship begins.”

Llorente opted to sign for Juventus this summer after he refused to sign a new contract with Basque outfit, Athletic Bilbao

Amidst reports that his new coach, Antonio Conte is not pleased with the Spanish forward's performances in pre-season, Llorente stated that these reports were little more than rumours:

"It's not true that Conte has told me that he's not happy with me so far. He's said that he's pleased with my work. We’ve had a really tough pre-season where we have worked a lot. I am doing all I can in order to integrate myself into the team and get used to heir style of play.”
