Torino midfielder, Omar El Kaddouri has revealed that the Granata are not thinking about European qualification, despite their 2-1 victory over Catania this weekend. The victory sees Torino climb to 10th in the Serie A table, and move to just five points behind 6th placed Parma; however, the 23 year old has stated that there is no talk of the Europa League in the dressing room:
“Yesterday’s games was a real test of maturity for us.”
“We’re not talking about Europe, as when he did earlier in the season, we lost our next two games.”
“We want to grow as a team and then just see what happens for the rest of the season.”
“If there is talk of Europe, it won’t be from us.”
Omar El Kaddouri is currently enjoying a successful spell at Torino on loan from Napoli. The Moroccan international has scored 4 goals in 18 appearances for Toro.
