After lifting his third consecutive Scudetto as Juventus coach yesterday, the club have confirmed that Antonio Conte will manage La Vecchia Signora during the 2014/15 season.

Juventus' official Twitter page confirmed the news by tweeting:

"Season 2014/15: manager Antonio Conte"

The confirmation comes on the back of a record breaking year for Juventus, in which the club finished with 102 points; won 33 of their 38 league games, including all 19 of their games at the Juventus Stadium.

Speculation began that Conte may leave La Vecchia Signora, when the manager stated that he was "willing to evaluate other projects":

"These three years have been fantastic and I asked so much from these players, who gave me everything I wanted."

"There are cycles and I’ve already told the club what I think about my future. We will soon clarify the situation. I give everything each year to every club I have worked for."

“It is difficult to better what we’ve achieved in three years."

“In Europe, Juventus are worth at least top eight in the Champions League and top four in the Europa League. I don’t sell false hope to fans, I am a realist and I need say it’s very difficult to do better than that. We have to see if it’s possible to do better than this. I have some doubts on that.”

The Juventini will undoubtedly be thrilled that speculation has finally been quelled, as fans made their support for Conte explicit over the past number of days, organising marches in the city of Turin under the slogan: “The Conte project must continue.”

Juventus players such as Fernando Llorente, Carlos Tevez, and Andrea Pirlo also voiced their opinions of their manager, with Pirlo, in particular, stating:

“Much of the credit for these trophies goes to Conte, as he picked up a team fresh from finishing seventh twice and won three Scudetti in a row.”

The news that Conte will remain in Turin could also mean that the club are willing to invest heavily in the Summer. Patrice Evra, and Alexis Sanchez have recently been linked with the club, and optimism that these players can be lured to Turin may reach new heights in the coming weeks, as many media outlets have already reported that Patrice Evra has all but signed for the club.
