Pablo Armero has joined AC Milan on an initial season long loan deal from fellow Serie A side Udinese with an option to buy next summer.

Armero is expected to complete his medical tests on Wednesday at the latest ahead of his move to the capital.

Speaking to the Rossoneri's official club website he said "I arrive in a great team, I want to find space here and do well. Yepes and Zapata? Yes, I spoke to some friends like Mario and Cristian and they spoke well about Milan. We’ll work hard to do well for the fans who deserve it. I’ve spoken to coach Inzaghi, he was a footballer who loved to win, he wants to do so as a coach. He’s said I have to work with intensity to give my all and give everything to become a first team regular. After the World Cup I rested, I’ve been with my family and friends. Now I have to think about training and giving my best to make myself ready when I’m called up for the cause. First I’ll think about winning the match, then I’ll think about the celebration dance. I’m only thinking about working to do well and earning a place here, then the coach will say who plays."

The 27 year old speedster spent the first half of last season on loan at Napoli before making a permanent move to the Stadio San Paolo in January then spent the second half of last term on-loan at English outfit West Ham. The full back come winger represented Colombia in all five of their World Cup games scoring once. Upon returning from the World Cup this summer, Armero was sold back to Udinese and then loaned out to AC Milan.
