Columbian winger Juan Cuadrado is prepared to dedicate his future in Italy as he set to sign a new deal at Fiorentina according to reports.

Cuadrado's agent Alessandro Lucci has arrived in Tuscany for negotiations with reports suggesting that he will become the second-highest paid player at Fiorentina behind striker Mario Gomez. It is believed that the deal will be wrapped up before September 18, but it could be as early as Monday.

Both Manchester United and Barcelona were heavily linked with the Colombian over the Summer but despite the rumours of a move away, Cuadrado stated that he was happy in Florence.

He said: "I had spoken with them [Manchester United and Barcelona] but the truth is that I've always remained calm, I'm happy to stay another season, I'm fine here."

Fiorentina paid €14 million this summer to buy Udinese's fifty percent of the player to own him out right. Reports suggest that this new deal will see him become the second-highest paid player, behind striker Mario Gomez, at the club.
