Experienced French defender Patrice Evra made his Juventus debut earlier in the Turin club's 2-0 victory over Udinese, and says Italian football has made him work a lot harder.

"It's totally different to English football, here the game is much more tactical so you have to think more. I have also found large differences in training, where I'm working to be able to give my best.

"I want to thank the fans for their enthusiasm and the help they give us, I will try to repay them with some great performances."

Regarding Juventus' Champions League tie with Malmo next week, Evra says his new club must improve on the last two seasons in the competition, "It's the goal. We simply must improve on the previous seasons. It 'a tough competition but we have great players, thanks to which we can do well. "
