A remarkable 29 goals were scored in game week four of Serie A. Udinese surge at the top continued as they condemned Lazio to 1-0 defeat while Napoli and AC Milan were held to high scoring draws by Palermo and Empoli respectively. At the top it was business as usual as AS Roma and Juventus maintained their 100% record.

Player of the Week

Arturo Vidal:
A welcome return to the starting lineup for the Chilean. Admitted to not being 100% and tired at half time but still covered every blade of grass. Scored a brace in a typical all action performance, a calmly struck penalty and a laser guided missile from the edge of the area. Absolute beast.

Honorable Mentions:

Miralem Pjanic:
Cometh the hour cometh the man. The Bosian dominated the proceedings with a total of 112 passes at a 93 per cent success rate and delivered the killer blow to seal the game in the 88th minute by curling a delightful costless kick past Mirante.

Andrea Belotti:
A hardworking performance saw the young Italian being rewarded with two goals. Napoli's defence struggled to track his movement. Scored a powerful header in the first half and the all important equalizer in the second half. Clinical.

Ignazio Abate:
The Italian right back bombed up the right wing regularly. Was rewarded for his attacking intent with a brace of assists as he picked out Fernando Torres with a cross for Milan's opener and found Honda in space for the equalizer.

Alessandro Matri:
Broke the deadlock by powering a header in to the far corner of Pierluigi Gollini’s net. Continued his good work by robbing Rafael Marquez of the ball and clinically finishing at the near post. A ruthless performance.
