Game week 5 of Serie A started with the top two teams AS Roma and Juventus maintaining their 100% record against Hellas Verona and Atalanta respectively. Both Milanese clubs faltered to impress with Inter being thrashed 4-1 at the San Siro and AC Milan held to an away draw by Cesena. A Di Natale inspired Udinese kept their run of form going and Lazio returned to winning ways courtesy of a Djordjevic hat-trick.

Player of the Week:

Filip Djordjevic
After failing to score in his first four appearances, the Serbian striker opened his goal scoring account in style. He scored an emphatic hat-trick of which the last 2 goals were right out of top drawer. Undoubtedly he was the man of the match and our player of the week.

Honorable Mentions:

Albin Ekdal
The Swede killed off the contest by scoring a first half hat-trick. Great positioning in Inter’s box saw him a trio of goals. A performance Super Pippo would have been proud of. Effective and clinical.

Carlos Tevez
Tevez is a man possessed this season. He started the game brightly and got his due reward by scoring the opener. Put the game beyond Atalanta by scoring the second. Was involved in every attacking move. Inspirational.

Antonio Di Natale
Di Natale personifies the phrase 'Form is temporary, class is permanent'. Displayed his clinical nature in front of goal with two calm finishes to score a first half brace and linked up well with his team mates to create more opportunities. The Udinese legend shows no signs of slowing down.

Jose Callejon
The Spaniard was a constant menace down the right hand side and te majority of Napoli's attacks came from his side. Scored the winner after an exquisite Higuain delivery found him in space.
