Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile will become a summer transfer priority for Lazio if they qualify for the Champions League, according to reports coming from Sky Italia.

Lazio currently lie third in the table after 29 games, a point off second placed city rivals Roma, and six clear of fourth placed Fiorentina.

This weekend Lazio host Empoli while Roma face seventh placed Europa League hopefuls Torino - The club where Immobile spent one season and scored 22 goals before Dortmund came calling.

Immobile came through the youth setup of Sorrento and was signed by Juventus in 2009, making three senior appearances. He also featured for Siena, Grosseto, Pescara (all on loan) while at Juventus before moving on to Genoa permanently before the aformentioned Torino.

Twenty-five year old Immobile has made 26 appearances this term for Dortmund, scoring 10 and assisting three in the process.

Veteran German striker Miroslav Klose and promising Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson are joint top scorer for the Biancocelesti this season with nine goals.
