Monaco 4-2-3-1;

Subasic - 5

Apart from cutting off a lobbed ball from Pirlo early in the first half, Subasic was not called upon to make a crucial save for the entire 90 minutes.

Fabinho - 5

Had a relatively quiet game, sitting back to help his centre backs with any on coming threats Morata presented and not making too many overlapping runs.

Kurzawa - 6.5

A busy night for the left back. Not needed to do too much defending, he completed many overlapping runs and was heavily involved in the play.

Abdennour - 6.5

Continued his fantastic form from the first leg into the second leg with a solid performance. Cutting off a number of loose balls from the Juventus midfield and clearing from the rare cross.

Raggi 6.5

Much like his counterpart Adbennour, Raggi also put in a solid performance. Even managing to make some runs forward to create a numbers advantage.

Joao Moutinho - 7.5

As expected, his performance was excellent. Creating a number of opportunities for and somehow managing to find space in what was a cramped midfield, he was a handfull for the likes of Vidal and Pirlo, skipping past them a number of times.

Toulalan - 4

An average performance from the captain who needed to lead by example in a game with such significance. Largely by passed in midfield.

Kondogbia - 7

He complemented Moutinho well by not only putting the pressure on Buffon with some shots, but also covering for Moutinho whenever a turnover occured in midfield, cutting off a number of loose passes.

Bernardo Silva - 6

Had an indifferent match. Able to display brilliant footwork but also missing simple passes.

Martial - 7

Without being able to sting the gloves of Buffon, the lone striker kept busy and created some havoc for the Juventus defense with a great display of his dribbling ability and quick feet.

Ferreira Carrasco - 7

Like Martial, Carrasco kept the Juventus defense busy, especially Barzagli who needed to scramble on one or two occasions. He assisted in a glorius string of passes early in the first half which almost resulted in an own goal.

Substitutes:

Berbatov - 5

The half time substitute created an extra number in the forward half to put even more pressure on the Juventus defense, however didn't create any real opportunities and was largely ineffective.

Germain - 3

Did not obtain any possession of the ball during his 14 minutes on the pitch.

Matheus Carvalho - 3

A late substitute for Carrasco with no effect on the match

Juventus 3-5-2

Buffon - 5.5

Although making a number of comfortable saves, there were moments when Buffon rushed out to crosses and was unable to clear the area. The nerves from the captain were very much apparant.

Barzagli - 5

The speed of the Monaco defense, namely the movement from Carrasco and Silva, troubled Andrea for most of the game. However he still managed to block a lot of chances.

Bonucci - 5.5

Even though a flat back three was used, Bonucci played large parts of the game sweeping for his 2 defensive collegues. His passing out of defense a rare highlight.

Chiellini - 5.5

Another early slip almost had the defender dismissed in the first minute with a deliberate handball. A lot of nervous passing out of defense with a high number not hitting a target and being turned over. Overall kept Monaco's opportunities to a minimum.

Lichsteiner - 6

Like Evra, spent most of the night defending. He was able to exploit the space Kurzawa left with his overlapping runs without really troubling the Monaco defense. A lot of his passes resulted in turnovers.

Vidal - 6

Worked hard in midfield to close space and put in some hard tackles. Also provided assistance to forward movements on the rare occasions these happened.

Pirlo - 6

A mixed night for Pirlo saw some uncharacteristic stray passes from the man they call the magican. However he did create 2 out of 3 only genuiene chances for Juventus that they were not able to capitialise from.

Marchisio - 5.5

Claudio's role in the midfield was sacrificed as he spent most of the match defending for Pirlo, not creating anywhere near the usual amount of play he normally would.

Evra - 4

Was a almost a permanent left back for the duration of this match with a lack of ball movement on the left side of the pitch negating any forward plays.

Tevez - 5

It was a frustrating night for the current Serie A leading goal scorer. A lack of delivery and a surprising lack of effort from Tevez only saw him produce one effort that went just wide.

Morata - 6

The only active Juventus forward in the first 70 minutes before being substituted, although without assistance from his teammates, the pressure he created resulted in no turnovers from Monaco. Also stuggled to hold possesion of the ball at times.

Substitutes:

Llorente - 5

His introduction brought some much needed spark to the Juventus attack with plenty of positive runs forward however not able to manage a shot.

Pererya - 5

Vidal's illness in the lead up was always going to allow Pererya some game time, and he picked up where Vidal left off. Bustling around the Monaco midfield to create as much pressure as possible.

Padoin - 5

Simone's only involvment was to hold up play late in the game.
