Marco Storari has signed a new one year contract extension with Juventus that will keep him at the club until next summer.

The veteran shot stopper, 38, has been with the Old Lady since 2010 when he moved from fellow Serie A outfit Milan and his contract was due to expire this summer. This season he has made a total of ten appearances in all competitions and kept three clean sheets across those ten games.

Storari has spent his five-year stay at Juventus as understudy to legendary World Cup winning keeper Gianluigi Buffon and has racked up almost half a century of appearances in this time.

He's won four straight Serie A's titles, two Supercoppa Italiana's and 1 Coppa Italia during his time with Juventus and could add a Champions League title to that list if the club are successful this weekend.

In his sixteen year professional career he has made almost 350 appearances at nine different clubs including 143 with former Serie A side Messina in a five-year spell between 2002-2007.
