AC Milan have offered Champions League winner Dani Alves a two year deal with an option of a third worth €2.5 million per year.

Alves' long-term agent Dinorah Santana confirmed in April that his client would move on from Barca after seven years and over 300 appearances upon contract expiry at the end of the season. Following Barcelona's 3-1 win over Juventus, who were also believed to be interested in the 79-time Brazilian international, Alves spoke about Milan to Sky Italia and was quoted as saying, "It would be a pleasure to join Milan."

"There is a proposal from Italy and I will evaluate all the alternatives before deciding." He continued. The full-back was also believed to be a target for Manchester United although the Premier League side look set to miss out on him.

Compatriot Neymar paid homage to the departing Alves tweeting, "Thank you @danid2ois for looking after me these two years...I love you bro...happiness, happiness. The people are this!"

Alves isn't the only full-back the Rossoneri are after either as they look set to chase after left-back Aleksandar Kolarov after a request from new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
