With Lazio having qualified for the UEFA Champions League play-off's, they've been given the freedom to explore the transfer market in such a way they've not been able to do so in recent years.

Several good players are available for transfers elsewhere this summer, and the Roma-based side would be wise to improve their attacking line both in terms of quality and quantity.

Galatasaray poacher Burak YilmazLiverpool striker Fabio Borini and Sassuolo duo of Domenico Berardi and Simone Zaza are some of the names that have been linked in recent days and Manchester United's Javier Hernandez has been a reported target ever since the La Liga season ended a few weeks back. This consequently means that there are plenty of options for Lazio to choose from. Out of those, however, it would appear that Borini and Berardi are the closer options while players like Hernandez and Yilmaz appear to be more complicated targets based on their prestige and their wage demands.

Borini has been already approached by Lazio and the player appears to be keen to return to Italy. Berardi, on the other hand, played for Sassuolo last season but he's owned by Juventus and given the fact that the had a very good year, he could have a place in Massimo Allegri's squad for the upcoming season. With Juve targeting reinforcements for their frontline however, Berardi could be loaned once again and Lazio would be a perfect team considering he will play in Europe.

Yilmaz has been a long-time target for plenty of teams and he has been racking for Turkish side Galatasaray. No fee has been reported for his services but latest offers indicated he could be available for a sum between £15 and £20million, which is a price that might be too steep for Lazio's budget.

Chicharito has been rumoured to be prefering a move to Spain as he felt really comfortable at La Liga giants Real Madrid despite his lack of first-team opportunities in the early months of his tenure at the Bernabeú. However, United own him and ultimately, the Premier League giants are the ones who control his destiny for the next season.
