Juventus are once again testing the European market, this time looking at Porto left-back Alex Sandro, who has been a mainstay in the Porto squad for the last few years.

This has already been a busy market for the Italian champions, and it only looks to get busier as pre-season kicks off and the deadline for new arrivals draws closer.

Money

Over the past few days, a huge transfer potential transfer has been pushed into the spotlight. Reports suggest that Bayern Munich have agreed a fee, said to be around €37million euros, for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal. Should this transfer go through, Juventus would have a fair bit of money to spend in the coming weeks.

This signing, should it happen, would add yet another name to the list of players Juve have brought in this summer so far. There is a clear plan for the market, with the directors determined to provide manager Massimiliano Allegri with pieces to thrust the team to another Serie A title and possibly lead them to UEFA Champions League glory, as they fell short in the final last time out against Barcelona

The Fit

Juventus currently have Patrice Evra and Kwadwo Asamoah as left-back options within their side. Evra is 34 and approaching his twilight years and Asamoah is naturally a central midfielder. Alex Sandro would come in and rotate with Evra in the defence, this would see Asamoah move back into midfield to replace Bayern target Arturo Vidal - which all makes sense.

With Andrea Pirlo and possibly Vidal leaving, the midfield is a big talking point for Juventus going into the season. Luckily for them, they have plenty of midfield talent: Claudio Marchisio, Roberto Pereyra, Sami Khedira, Paul Pogba, Stefano Sturaro and as well as Asmoah. That list of players boasts a fantastic mix of talent and experiece, meaning they should be perfectly fine for yet another title defence.

Juventus' next target is a creative attacking midfielder, with Mario Götze, Oscar and Julian Draxler being suggested, the latter seemingly more attainable. There has been no lack of action in Turin in what it shaping up to be an interesting summer for fans of the club.
