Juventus got a big win against Sevilla in the Champions League and the defending Serie A champs will look to beat Bologna as two bottom half of the table teams face off.

Form

It has been a struggle for Juve in Serie A. They only have five points from six games and currently sit 15th in the table. They recently lost 2-1 to Napoli and the holes in this team are glaring. But they have been the complete opposite in the Champions League. In a group with the likes of Manchester City and defending Europa League champs Sevilla, Juve have beaten both are now at the top of their group. The way things look, the only way for Juventus to make Europe again would be to win the Champions League. If that is the case then those two wins are crucial for Juve.

Bologna come into this game hoping to be the next team to stun Juve this season. They have lost their last two games including a 2-1 loss to Udinese in their last fixture. They come into this game sitting 19th in the table and will likely be fighting to stay up at the end of the season. A win over Juventus would greatly help their chances of staying up and moving up the table.

Key Players

The key player for Juventus will be striker Alvaro Morata. He scored against Sevilla, doubling his total to two goals in two Champions League games. The Spanish striker has found a home and has shown that he can step up and be the main striker for Juventus. After Carlos Tevez left for Boca Juniors, there were a lot of doutbts surrounding Morata. But he has put those to rest so far as he has proved to be Juve's most dangerous scorer in the Champions League. Now he has to be able to play like that in Serie A.

The key player for Bologna will be midfielder Anthony Mounier. He has scored two goals this season and has been Bologna's best offensive player. He is facing a Juve defense that has seemsto have lost some of its grit than what it had in years prior. They are giving up goals early and at the most unfortunate times. Although Juve's defense has played solid in Champions League play, Juve's defense in Serie A has been sketchy at best.

Team News

Juve defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has been ruled out of action for a month after undergoing minor heart surgery. The Swiss defender was subbed off a couple of games ago due to breathing problems and now he has undergone surgery to fix a heart condition.

Sami Khedira has returned to first team action as he played against Sevilla in Juve's last fixture. After suffering a knee injury to begin the season, the former Real Madrid player will look to provide key midfield depth and help out the likes of Paul Pogba in the midfield.

What They're Saying

"he can become simply unstoppable" said manager Massimiliano Allegri in the post game press conference after the match against Sevilla (via ESPN). The Colombian has been a strong force in the Juventus team and he seems comfortable being back in Italy after struggling in England last season.

"I've only got two and a half more years of my career and I think it's too late now," said Juventus goalie Gianluigi Buffon about possibly moving to England to finish to career.

Linked to many teams over the years, Buffon has stayed true to Juve and Serie A, making him one of the few star players that have stayed with their respective clubs for so long.
