In a financial statement released by the club, AS Roma announced that the loan deals for striker Edin Dzeko as well as attacking midfielders Mohamed Salah and Iago Falque have been made permanent - all three are now officially Roma players.

Dzeko and Salah initially joined from Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea respectively whilst Falque made his way to the Italian giants from fellow Serie A side Genoa. Now all three appear to be representing the Giallorossi for the foreseeable future.

Roma confirm permanent deals for three players

As part of the financial statement, Roma announced that Dzeko and Salah will make their stay in Rome a permanent one. "These players were first signed on a temporary basis, which has been transformed into definitive transfers after planned contractual conditions were met." The statement also disclosed that Falque will also join Roma permanently.

All three have been integral thus far this term

Currently missing time due to a twisted knee, Dzeko scored a crucial goal for Rudi Garcia's side. It's his only goal for the club to date, but it came during an early home fixture against fellow Italian giants, Juventus. The Bosnian forward gave his club a 2-0 lead in the 79th minute, with Falque creating the assist, meaning that despite a late consolation strike, Roma took all three points from a crucial encounter.

Salah currently spearheads the side with three in the league thus far and according to WhoScored, has been Roma’s second best player with more than one appearance. His rating so far has been a 7.58 in Serie A.

Falque meanwhile has not been an automatic starter, but has made his mark in games nonetheless. He provided the decisive assist for Dzeko's first goal, whilst the former Tottenham player also netted in their 2-0 victory over Frosinone - and grabbed an assist in a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of BATE Borisov in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

This is undoubtedly good news for Roma as three of the team's marquee signings will stay in the Eternal City beyond this season. The trio were part of a significant group of reinforcements brought in to help the Romans challenge Juventus for Serie A supremacy. Rudi Garcia's side also brought in Wojciech Szczesny and Lucas Digne (both loan deals) among others, to strengthen the team's prospects of challenging for silverware this term.
