Kevin Prince-Boateng is back in training with Milan following a contract row with Schalke the club confirmed on earlier in the week.

The 28-year-old Ghanian was suspended by the Bundesliga club for his bad attitude alongside two other teammates. The German born maestro's bad attitude was also the reason behind him being sent home from last summers World Cup in Brazil.

Galliani willing to help Schalke offload

Schalke tried but failed to offload the midfielder during the summer and Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani is said to be keen on bringing KPB back to the San Siro in January and is willing to spend €1 million on the player whose contract expires next summer.

Numerous reports suggesting Boateng was in training with the club until the year end were confirmed by Milan Channel and it is believed that he will be registered as Rossoneri property given he performs in the next two and a half months.

First opportunity to impress

The Milan Channel also confirmed that Boateng, who made 74 appearances in black and red before departing in 2013, is available for selection for today's friendly with fourth tier outfit Monza

With many big names out on international duty, Boateng has a fantastic chance to show what he's got and to show Milan that his behavioural issues have been left behind in Germany.

Mario Balotelli, who was expected to return to action in the friendly, has failed to recover from the knock he was carrying and therefore will play no part when the sides meet later today.

Milan will hope to have similar success to last time

While Boateng was part of Milan between 2010 and 2013, the club won the Scudetto and followed it up with a Supercoppa Italiana victory before slumping to their current state where there have been more managers at the San Siro than trophies since Boateng departed for Schalke in a €10 million deal.

It's a well know fact that Boateng on his day can be a world beater but whether he chooses to show up in Milan this time and get his career back on track having derailed it in Germany with his selfish, childlike attitude is another question.
